Choosing Primary Tutor Project for our daughter, M, has been absolutely the right decision. At the beginning of Year 6 M was really struggling with her confidence in her own abilities and we hoped that tutoring would give her the boost to her confidence that she needed.

We started with 121 sessions with PTP and more recently moved to the group session. Callie is a fantastic tutor, she has been amazing at finding the gaps in my son’s knowledge from school and ensuring he has a really good baseline knowledge before progressing. His confidence has skyrocketed in school as a result!!!

I never, and I mean never, thought my year 6 son would want to, and not just want to but be excited for, an extra lesson after school but somehow Callie has managed to make that happen! The lesson itself is well planned and carried out and the weekly report really helps keep me up to date with how my child is getting on. The process of signing up is straightforward and the videos you get access to are really helpful and informative.

Callie is the best tutor I have ever seen. She is kind, responsible, patient, organized, enthusiastic, and extremely efficient. Each lesson is tailored to meet the child's needs. After each lesson, Callie will send homework for the next session and provide after-class feedback and homework review of the last class quickly. My kids started working with Callie and Sian a few months ago and I've already seen some great improvements in their writing. The sessions are fun and creative. The topics change every week and are adapted to my kids' interests. We plan the sessions in advance, but if something comes up at short notice, the team is flexible to rearrange.

Callie was my daughter's Year 4 teacher at school. I highly recommend her. She is enthusiastic, kind, very patient and understanding, knows how to adapt her teaching to all learning styles and is fun to work with. She always goes the extra mile and makes sure that everything is clear. If children do not know the answer, she always knows how to help them get there. It was an honour to have Callie as my daughter's teacher.
My son has only been taught by Callie for a short period of time but he loves his weekly lesson. He is very engaged and enthusiastic and enjoys her lesson styles. She delivers what she promises with updates after every lesson and supports the whole family with advise and guidance to help our son progress.

Callie is an excellent teacher. Her teaching style is fun and playful, but yet effective in building up a solid foundation for kids learning English as a second language. The teaching materials are structural which parents can keep track on the kids' learning progress easily.
I strongly recommend Callie and Bek, they are lovely and very good at doing this job. My son has progressed so much since he started to have English lessons with Callie, and as I saw my son's confidence growing so much we decided to take math lessons and we started to work with Bek. It was the best decision that we could ever took. From being a middle student his last school report showed that he is above the expected level for his year group for both English and math.
Our 5-year-old son was having a tough time at school and we weren't getting the support we needed, so we looked for other options. We were worried that remote teaching wouldn't be effective because he was easily distracted and not focusing. But Verity has been amazing at making the lessons fun and engaging. She quickly connected with our son and understood his needs. This term, he even received the merit badge, which is given to one child in the year who has shown significant improvement.
Callie is an amazing teacher. My son loves her sessions and his level improved clearly by the end of the academic year. She manage to keep his attention during the class and motivate him to do more activities and practice.
If I could rate more than 5 that will be 10 of 5. My son study with Callie for one year and I could see after every session my son improvements. My son love every session and he was very exited after every hour for what he learned and the lovely hours spend. We have been matched with Charlotte, an inspiring teacher who brings English to life for a child who constantly informs us that she "positively hates" English & was going to get a 1 at GCSE. Most weeks she comes off her session with Charlotte bemoaning "If only she was my school English teacher" - "please can we move to her school" - high praise indeed. Needless to say I have never seen my daughter take pride in any of her English work, but now she often comes down from tutoring and reads what she's produced. What a turnaround!!
